The Cardiology Department equipped with a modern echocardiography General Electric ultrasound, which is equipped with comprehensive cardiac diagnostic software. Advanced high-resolution imaging techniques and hemodynamic information of cardiac function are provided for both adults and children.
Electrocardiographic monitoring of cardiac function and dynamic imaging of the circulatory system are painless, non-invasive, and effective methods for the timely recognition and management of cardiovascular diseases.
The department performs the following cardiological examinations:
- Electrocardiogram (ECG) combined with cardiological evaluation.
- Rhythm Holter monitoring: A holter monitor (Mortara) is a small wearable device that records the heart’s rhythm for 24 or 48 hours and it is used to detect or determine the risk of irregular heartbeats (arrhythmias).
- Holter monitoring of blood pressure: A holter device is worn by the patient. The device records the changes in blood pressure over this period and evaluate blood in normal environment and activities.
- Treadmill stress test.
- Cardiac-aortic triplex.
- Electrocardiographic check-up.
- Hypertension management and lipid regulation.
- Comprehensive pre-athletic checkup.
